Dear colleagues, Dear friends
This is our seventh international meeting, without you we wouldn’t exist. We cannot thank enough our local and international guest speakers who took the trouble to support this meeting and to enrich it with their experience and knowledge. I thank the delegates who with their valuable presence made this dream a reality. Of course, our thanks go to the pharmaceutical companies and many private institutes who supported this meeting financially.
Finally, this is an emotional moment in my career. This meeting gives me confidence and proof, that nothing can be achieved without hard work, proper planning and perseverance. I’d like to conclude with the poem by the great Arab poet Abu Al-Qasim Al-Shabbi, (1909-1934):
If, one day, the people wills to live Then fate must obey
He who doesn’t like to climb mountains Will forever live among the hollows
اذا الشعب يوماً أراد الحياة فلا بد أن يستجيب القدر
ومن لا يحب صعود الجبال يعش أبد الدهر بين الحفر
